BCB MyHealth is a digital patient engagement platform from BCB Medical.
Healthcare organisations use it to collect patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs), patient-reported experience measures (PREMs) and other patient feedback electronically.
Patients and social care clients answer questionnaires and receive guidance securely before, during and after care, and their answers are stored as structured data that professionals can use for care, remote patient follow-up and quality improvement.
MyHealth enables patients to share information about symptoms, recovery and quality of life directly with healthcare professionals. This real-time exchange supports shared decision-making, improves outcomes and strengthens patient satisfaction. MyHealth is fully integrated and synchronised with BCB’s Clinical Information Management Systems (CIMS), giving healthcare professionals a holistic view of the patient’s health at the point of care.
Patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) are validated questionnaires in which patients report their own symptoms, functional ability and quality of life. Patient-reported experience measures (PREMs) capture how patients experienced their care. Together they show outcomes and quality of care from the patient’s point of view, and they are a cornerstone of value-based healthcare.
With MyHealth Questionnaires, digital questionnaires are sent to patients automatically at set points in their care, for example before a visit, after surgery or at follow-up. Patients answer online, and their answers are stored as structured data in BCB’s system and can be transferred to the organisation’s electronic health record (EHR). Both generic and disease-specific questionnaires are available.
MyHealth Generic Questionnaires provide a flexible, ready-to-use way to collect patient-reported information digitally, either from a broad patient population or from a selected target group of patients and clients. They support a wide range of needs, including quality-of-life questionnaires, pre-visit forms, pain clinic questionnaires, memory and sleep questionnaires, postoperative follow-up and complication monitoring.
Questionnaires can be activated automatically, scheduled at chosen points in care and adapted to the organisation’s needs. The collected data is stored as structured information in BCB’s system. The data can also be integrated into the organisation’s EHR system and data repository, making it available for care planning, follow-up, analytics and knowledge-based management.
MyHealth Questionnaires can be targeted to disease-specific patient groups and, together with BCB CIMS and BCB Dataroom, enable the collected data to be analysed in a disease-specific context. Digital question sets are used to monitor patients’ symptoms, treatment and well-being before and after treatment and during post-treatment recovery. Validated instruments include e.g. EQ-5D, PROMIS, Oxford Hip Score.
MyHealth Questionnaires enable patients to communicate with their healthcare providers about their health, functional capacity, and quality of life. Through MyHealth, patients can receive counselling related to their care, such as self-care advice and instructions before or after treatment.
With BCB Dataroom, healthcare professionals can ask questions about PROM, PREM and patient feedback data in plain language and quickly see patterns in symptoms, quality of life, treatment response, recovery and patient satisfaction. This supports better follow-up, more personalised care and continuous improvement of services.
