Expansion of the UK Team

HepCARE monitoring system is actively used by approximately 30 hospitals in the UK. We aim to extend the use of our other disease-specific monitoring solutions in the UK.

2022
Combining the two organizations to one: BCB Medical

The successful merger of BCB Medical and Health Solutions is finalized at the end of the year 2022. The group continues to operate under one name, BCB Medical. It is now fully prepared to serve its customers across markets and take the following steps forward on the international growth journey.

2021–
Joining forces with Health Solutions

BCB Medical acquires Health Solutions AB, its Swedish partner and pioneer in health data. The acquisition makes the combined entity the most prominent Health IT company in the Nordic region, focusing on the quality and effectiveness of patient care. The exciting journey to internationalization starts!

2017–2018
Development of BCB Suite

R&D and development of BCB Suite for over 100 disease groups, including disease-specific monitoring solutions for healthcare professionals, patient communication and engagement tools, and state-of-the-art analytical tools for research and reporting.

2015–2016
Significant Framework Agreement

Framework agreements with all the university hospitals and hospital districts in Finland cover the development of quality registries of over 100 disease groups supported by MyHealth solutions and real-time integrations with other EHR systems in hospitals.

2013–2014
Large product portfolio

We expand our product portfolio to new medical areas: our quality registers cover nearly 30 disease groups. We also develop the integration platform, and our quality registers are integrated with hospital districts’ other patient data systems at an unprecedented rate.

2012
Co-operation with HUS

We sign framework agreements with university hospitals and hospital districts in Finland. The agreements cover quality registersfor 10 disease groups, their integration to hospital systems, and the MyHealth service.

2011
MyHealth service launched

Our quality registers are being adopted by private sector healthcare providers. We introduce the first version of MyHealth service for patients.

2007-2009
Hospital districts on board

Our first quality register is in use in nearly all Finnish hospital districts. We launch our second quality register for monitoring orthopedic arthroscopic surgery.

2005
First quality register

We launch our first quality register for artificial joint surgery and perform the first systems integrations with patient data systems.

2004
Tissue bank system spreads

Almost every tissue bank in Finland adopts our tissue bank system. We secure our first international customers in Germany, Australia and Mexico.

2003
BCB Medical is established

BCB Medical is established to provide quality monitoring solutions for tissue banks.
